Goodbye?

Oh, wow!! This is my last post here. In this opportunity, I just enjoyed write about awesome things like my favourite movie, singer or the political situation in my country. This blog was a fantastic way for communicate some pieces of me, principally for those who don’t know me.

About keep writing in this site, I don’t know because I have a lot of things in my job like radio speaker or journalist in Bello Público magazine. But, if I would consider starting my own blog, I prefer speak about terms like feminism, the sexual dissent movement, the “relationship” between showbiz and politic areas and posting my articles like journalist for the rest to the people.

Yeah, this site help me improve my basic english. Definitely, the exercise of writing about your favourite things is a funny way for learn this idiom. Even though I think that this idiom is functional (sorry, but my Chilean Spanish is better LOL), practice english through this blog is, for me, a personal progress.

Well, the good things that I enjoyed in this class was write about my favourite pop singer or my devotion to Britney Spears; but the only bad things was caused by my recurrent delays. Sorry, Henry, but it was not my intention and the public transport in this city is degrading. L

In my blog, I don’t know what change. However this site will still open till the end of time.

Bad education

In my country, the education is inserted by neoliberal system logics. Thanks to last dictatorship, scholar and social inequalities have been marked by the social or university privatization, causing social injustices and planting the meritocracy based on free market economy.

The thief

Thanks to student movement from 2011, the actual government stakes to educational reforms that breaks this inequality. However, students and teachers have not been systematically and consistently backed by “Nueva Mayoría”, centre-left political alliance formed by Socialist Party (PS), Christian Democracy (DC), Communist Party (PC), Party for the Democracy (PPD), among others. For this reason, in Chile are strikes and marches.

In my opinion, I support this movement because I think that’s unacceptable be a student and do anything for change our deplorable situation. In Chile, the bad education implies repudiate our history, our ethnic roots, a feminist sexual education and our politic culture. All these issues are necessary change through new models of teaching and learning and we, like students and teachers, are the ones to make realty this change. For this reason, the strikes and marches are principal ways to building awareness for the rest.
