ICEI Season 2

Hi, everyone!!

This is my second year in my new career, and I’ve got fantastic experiences with friends and classmates.

In this semester, my free time will be destined to do my extracurricular activities. Since a year, I work like announcer for a radio program called “Libre y Gratis” in Universidad de Chile’s Radio. I love my role, and I think that’s funny do it.
Also, I’ve got a job like a journalist in “Bello Público”, a magazine make by students from my University.

Since a year, I’m part from a collective called “Frente Jilista”. We think that showbiz has its political side, and the scandal moves the political news. In my country, the crazy world of celebrities describes social problems like discrimination in racial, sexual and class dimensions. Our way to communicate these injustices is through this genre. Not like TMZ, because its treatment is superficial.

Bow down, b*tches!

In this season, my academic period will be kinda light. I have five subjects: “column and interview”, “interpersonal communication”, “picture’s analysis”, “rights to the information” and “english” with my teacher Henry. I need organize my hours of study. Or, otherwise, I’ll be not happy. L

In my free time, running is waiting for me. I hope so.

That’s all. XOXO!!

You want a piece of me?

Hi, everyone. :)

This is my new blog, and I'll share some pieces of me during this year. So, here goes.

My full name is Iván Andrés Catalán Gómez, also known as Ana Bolena in the social networks. I don't like my last name because I think that it rhymes whit Iván. I was born on the 12th September 1991 in Santiago, Chile. I went to the Instituto Superior de Comercio Eduardo Frei Montalva, an emblematic school. Then, Before to study Journalism, I studied History in the University of Chile.

My immediate family is made up my mother Iris, and my two sisters, Doris and Catalina. About my father, I do not talk because he was not good to me. Also I have three nieces, Macarena, Nicole and Estefanía. I love this girls.

If I describe in one word, it should be "queer", in personal and political terms. I don't think that gender define your sexuality and neither your body. My way for remove the patriarchal culture is being feminist and fight for equality.

Finally, I love pop music and Britney Spears is my jesus.

Long live to the lord
